When there are problems, there are usually several reasons. Frequently it is an unfortunate combination of self-doubt, insecurity, anxiety (for example, after a traumatic experience with the horse) or actions which the horse does not understand lead to the rider’s frustration.

Since horses are flight animals and perceive the finest emotions in humans, it can make a significant difference if one’s own mental blocks and negative patterns of behaviour are resolved before starting to work with the horse. For achieving this, hypnosis, BWRT, logosynthesis and mental training are wonderful tools and so is practicing mindfulness whilst training your horse.

From successful horsemanship and dressage trainers at home and abroad, I have learned many practical tricks to communicate with horses and to overcome hurdles. 

Violence, aggression and hustle and bustle have no place in my philosophy of how to deal with animals. They are both unnecessary and motivational killers.
